Training Courses Delivered at our venues, or at your own premises throughout the world.

All training centres have special therapeutic environments, based in a number in beautiful countryside settings.

APAC courses, delivered in the UK, are accredited by PTI, PTUK and Leeds Beckett (formerly Leeds Metropolitan) University at 16 locations. Courses delivered in the Republic of Ireland, at two venues, are accredited by PTI, PTUK and the National University of Ireland. All training centres have special therapeutic environments, a number in beautiful countryside settings. 'Magical places'. Buckden Towers, Salomons, Engineers' House, Clotworthy Arts Centre and Wentworth Castle are restored listed buildings of architectural worth.  We also facilitate a range of courses in agencies' and organisations' own premises throughout the world.


La Mouline Play Therapy Training Centre

La Mouline Play Therapy Training Centre

La Mouline Play Therapy Training Centre is located in the South of France near Albi, about an hour's drive from Toulouse airport.  APAC Summer Schools are held here in July/August providing 15 day intensive training courses at Certificate and Diploma levels.  This is ideal for those wishing to complete courses in as short a time as possible and for combining a holiday with training.

Clotworthy Arts Centre

Clotworthy Arts Centre is located in Antrim, Northern Ireland.  This is a new venue and the first in Northern Ireland to deliver Play Therapy courses.

Salomons Campus

Salomons Campus is a part of Canterbury Christ Church University and is used by APAC to deliver the Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills and Diploma in Play Therapy courses. These courses are structured in 3-day modules and are held at week-ends to minimise the time that needs to be taken away from work.  The Centre is conveniently situated for London and South East England.

Buckden Towers

Buckden Towers, Cambridgeshire, is used by APAC  to deliver the Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills and Diploma in Play Therapy courses. These courses are structured in 3-day modules and are held at week-ends to minimise the time that needs to be taken away from work.  The Centre is conveniently situated for East Anglia, North London and the East Midlands.

 

Stonleigh Abbey

Stonleigh Abbey, Warwickshire, is used by APAC  to deliver the Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills and Diploma in Play Therapy courses. These courses are structured in 3-day modules and are held at week-ends to minimise the time that needs to be taken away from work.  The Centre is conveniently situated for the Midlands just south of Coventry.

Marino Conference Centre, Dublin.  is used by APAC  to deliver the Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills and Diploma in Play Therapy courses. These courses are structured in 3-day modules and are held at week-ends to minimise the time that needs to be taken away from work.  For Garda vetting please contact playtherapyire@gmail.com. You can start on the course but must be successfully vetted before you can start your practice. This process takes around 12 weeks so please apply for this as early as possible.

Ennismore Retreat Centre, Cork.  is used by APAC  to deliver the Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills and Diploma in Play Therapy courses. These courses are structured in 3-day modules and are held at week-ends to minimise the time that needs to be taken away from work. For Garda vetting please contact playtherapyire@gmail.com. You can start on the course but must be successfully vetted before you can start your practice. This process takes around 12 weeks so please apply for this as early as possible.

Leeds/Barnsley

Wentworth Castle, Leeds/Barnsley is used to deliver the Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills and Diploma in Play Therapy courses. These courses are structured in 3-day modules and are held at week-ends to minimise the time that needs to be taken away from work.  The Centre is conveniently situated for the North East, Bradford, Huddersfield, Sheffield and Yorkshire as well as the Leeds area.

Epiphany House

Epiphany House - Truro, Cornwall - Epiphany House has had a long and varied history. It has served as a vicarage, a bishop's palace, a school and in more recent years it was the home of the sisters of the Community of the Epiphany, an Anglican religious order.

Union Jack Club - Waterloo, London - The UJC's main entrance is in Sandell Street. This is opposite the Waterloo Road entrance of the Waterloo main line and underground railway station. Being in central London, car parking is very restricted and charges are high on weekdays and Saturdays. Much better to come by public transport. Waterloo station is very well served by the Underground: Bakerloo, Jubilee, Northern and Waterloo/City lines

Beaumont Estate

Beaumont Estate - Old Windsor, Berkshire - Whether travelling by air, rail or car, Beaumont Estate is easy to reach. It’s just off the A308 and A328 and near the M3, M4 and M25. The hotel is 5 minutes from Egham and Windsor railway stations. The historic town of Windsor is just 3 miles away. Once the school closed in the late 1960's, Beaumont Estate was purchased by British computer company ICL who used it as their training centre.

The Beeches

The Beeches - Bournville, West Midlands - Easily accessible by road and rail from the North West of England, North Wales, Yorkshire and the Midlands. In 1878 the Cadbury family set out to build a new site for their rapidly expanding chocolate business. As well as a new factory, part of their vision involved providing a high quality housing development to improve the quality of life for their workers and families.

Golden Jubilee - Clydebank, Glasgow - The four star hotel is set on the picturesque banks of the River Clyde less than 20 minutes from Glasgow International Airport, Glasgow City centre and the beautiful Scottish countryside in nearby Loch Lomond. The site was once part of the William Beardmore and Company Naval Construction Works. Built by William Beardmore, between 1901 and 1906, the yard covered nearly 100 acres, making it was one of the largest shipyards in the UK. More details

Rosebery House in Edinburgh is used to deliver the Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills and Diploma in Play Therapy courses. These courses are structured in 3-day modules and are held at week-ends to minimise the time that needs to be taken away from work.  The Centre is conveniently situated for Central Scotland and the Borders areas as well as Glasgow.

Manchester

Used to deliver the Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills and Diploma in Play Therapy courses. These courses are structured in 3-day modules and are held at week-ends to minimise the time that needs to be taken away from work.  The Centre is conveniently situated for the North West,  Merseyside and West Midlands as well as the Manchester area.
