- To check the pixel count of an image:
- Right-click on the image (or, on a Mac, control-click).
- Choose Properties or Get Info.
- Click the Details tab. (or, on a Mac, More Info).
- You’ll see the image dimensions in pixels.

- choose “Resize for “Custom”
- put in width = 300, height = 400
- to download you can either follow the instructions on the screen or right-click on the image and click on “save image as”
- Photo must be taken vertically/portrait (on phone /tablet, i.e., do not turn phone/tablet to the side for a wide angle shot as it cannot be adjusted )
- Your photograph should
- show a full front view of you as you would normally appear
- be a headshot (i.e., head and shoulders only)
- be on a light background
- Your expression should be neutral with both eyes open and mouth closed.
- You should not have any hair covering your eyes. Contrived expressions such as raised eyebrows, squinting or frowning are not acceptable
- Sunglasses and hats are not acceptable. Only head coverings worn for religious reasons are permitted
